プロファイル James Bent
I studied English Literature and Creative Studies at the University of Portsmouth, UK, graduating in 2002. Since then, I have lived, worked and traveled across North America, Asia, Europe and Australasia. For the last four years, I have worked in senior and lead business writing roles, including writing key strategy and learning programs. I have a keen interest in American, Japanese and European literature, including Haruki Murakami, Kobo Abe, Boris Vian, Raymond Queneau, Raymond Carver, Angela Carter, John Fante and Charles Bukowski. I have also visited many of the world’s “best” Modern art galleries and admire the work of Picasso, Mondrian, Fontano, Hepworth, Duchamp and Moore. I have completed my first novel, “The BIrdcage Melodies”, which I have out to agents for consideration, and I’m working on a second, tentatively titled “Bibi”.
